38 Weeks

We had our weekly appointment today! All was well! Baby Gator is measuring about 7 pounds and the heartbeat was about 141. I am almost 2 cm. dilated and if all goes well at next weeks appointment and I have dilated to about 2.5-3 cm, they plan to induce me on the July 16th. We really want 1 of 3 Doctors and two of them are on call that week.

If you don't go into labor before Saturday you are going to make me so nervous being at my shower! I can already picture the mad rush to get you out the door good thing we have wheelchairs and ramps on hand! :)

I am just learning how to "comment". Best of luck on the 16th, if not before. I was hoping for another July 4 birthday (mine) or July 5 (Bill's) but Baby Gator deserves his own special day.

20 Weeks

We thought this would be fun to tell our story and announce the arrival of Baby Gator in July. The ultrasound pictures are from our 20 week appointment. (February 27, 2008)

The baby's heartbeat was about 141. Gator still thinks it is a boy! I have only had two dreams about the sex of the baby. A boy and a girl. The appointments are very exciting and each time it is so wonderful to hear the heartbeat. The Ultrasound tech said the baby was very calm and relaxed and she tried everything to get it to turn and look at us, so we could get a picture.

We are wanting to be surprised in the end....
